1. Approach of the design thinking project.

"Design thinking" is presented as a methodology to develop innovation focused on people, offering a lens through which you can observe challenges, detect needs and, finally, solve them.

1. The Design Thinking project proposal is human-oriented, feasible and functional. And they are involved.

Title:

Footrest portátiles.

Issue:

Poor posture during work or student hours physically harms the most vulnerable areas of the body (Lumbar, Cervical, Carpal Tunnel). Because many times the conditions of adaptation of a workplace, the physical and psychological characteristics of the worker or the user are not adequate, thus reducing the performance of workers or students.

Solution:

A correct posture will allow to be more effective in a job. For this he presents the portable Footrest product; designed for Ergonomic foot support to achieve good circulation and posture during the day. "Ergonomics seeks greater performance at work from the humanization of the means to produce it."

General purpose:

Adapt a place of work or study, improving the conditions of stay.

Specific goal:

• Optimize the position of users.

• Check the efficiency of the product.

• Formulate surveys to improve the product.

2.-The proposal is of high social, economic impact.

Hypothesis:

We consider that the problem of posture when using inappropriate chairs affects many users being the hardest hit students who have more than 5 hours sitting in a classroom. Through informative talks about the problems that cause bad posture in their study or work positions, the aim will be to make the different users aware so that they can acquire this revolutionary product that will put an end to the problems of posture.

3. The work team has the competences to develop the project.

• Each member of the team took the occupational health and safety course.

• Our team is clear that the issue of ergonomics is a serious issue that influences occupational health causing high or low student performance.

• Different surveys were carried out to verify if the problem actually exists and how it could be solved.

• Through different product designs the best one was searched for its easy use in the students.

4. The proposal is based on the reality and opportunities for innovation within the region.

• We have a large number of educational centers with inadequate seats for students since a large budget is not allocated to the subject of ergonomics because this problem affects several users.

• The first tests are done in TECSUP to analyze the results and thus go out to the market.

5. Develop a Gantt Diagram of activities for the development of design thinking.
